MSWL:
I’m looking for Romance or Commercial Fiction with a strong romantic subplot. I prefer high concepts and strong hooks that grab your attention with a one or two-sentence pitch. I'm drawn to complex characters, propulsive plots, timely themes all delivered with a strong narrative voice. My favorite books typically feature realistically flawed characters in messy situations that that keep me turning the pages. I’d like to mentor stories featuring BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and body diverse characters written by authors who share those identities.
MENTORING STYLE
I prefer to tailor my mentoring style to my mentee after figuring out what type of help they may need. I prefer to speak (virtually) face to face, and collaborate on a set of goals for the manuscript designed to help my mentee craft the story they want to tell while also increasing their odds of a successful query process.
APPLICATIONS FROM CONNECTIONS
I don't have preferences regarding who may submit to me, even if we have connected in the past.
