I tend to prefer communication by DM/text/email. While I'm happy to hop on a zoom call here and there, I have little kids at home, which can make video calls tricky. I'd love to provide feedback on query letters (as well as share strategies that helped me when querying), and work with my mentee to tighten and polish the entire submission package. Ideally, we'll go through the whole MS together. Whether my help is most useful in the form of developmental or line-editing feedback, I can tailor my approach as needed! I envision being in close contact with my mentee and readily available to answer any questions that may arise. I give decent pep talks, too.
